  Forestadora Tapebicuá is a company that belongs to Grupo Celulosa Argentina.

As a reference firm in the Argentine forest industry sector, it features an integral structure comprising responsible forestation, manufacture, marketing and distribution of high value-added products both in the domestic and global markets.

The company conducts forest activities in the province of Corrientes and owns two sawmills and a plywood mill.

The Virasoro Industrial Center and the San Charbel Industrial Center have a cutting capacity of 60,000 m3 and 40,000 m3 respectively.

The phenolic plywood plant has a capacity of 48,000 m3 per year.

The main manufactured products include phenolic plywood and remanufactured products such as solid wood floors, decks and tongue-and-groove boards.

The GRANDIS® brand is a top quality, sustainability and high performance reference brand in the market, and was one of the first brands to obtain the FSC®(Forest Stewardship Council®) certificate, which certifies that the product is the result of responsible, economically viable and socially beneficial activities.

All the company products are manufactured from cultivation forests. GRANDIS® products constitute a renewable, biodegra-dable and recyclable resource.

FTSAFTSA is undergoing the final stages of the works for the installation of a biomass driven turbo generator.

This investment focuses on self-generation of power using wood chip and sawdust from the industrial process as fuel, thus achieving major savings and eliminating environmental threats.

Cost of the investment: US$ 2.8 million.
Due to the increasing acceptance of our remanufactured eucalyptus grandis products and in view of the additional demand, we have added a production shift in this line so as to duplicate the product supply.
